palm of your hand facing rearward. |

HAZARD LEFT
Extend your left arm at

point towards the hazard. |

a hazard on the right. |

TIGHTEN UP
Raise your left arm and
repeatedly move up and down
in a pulling motion. This
indicates the leader wants the
group to close ranks. |

With your left arm
extended, move your index
finger in a circular motion.
This indicates that the leader
intends to pass a vehicle and
feels it is safe for others to
do so as well. However,
please use your own judgment
when making the decision to pass.
