Region 11 November 2009 Meeting Minutes
- Meeting
called to order at 7:00 by RC Chris Rose.

Allegiance led by Jerry Burke of the Great Lakes Riding Club.

Legislative Report - In Alice's absence Chris reported that Alice told him there
hasn't been any changes to any legislation we are watching.

Reports

Chili Cookoff / Broomstick pool: Tammy reported that we made a profit of $605.00
2.
Seminar Hospitality Suite: Ray and Jenni looking for ideas for a theme.
They are thinking either Spooky halloween, or Pajama party.
Chris reported that the State has reserved one room on the ground floor
in the atrium for each region. Jenni
asked for people who are attending to sign up to bring a dish.
3.
Bowling: Tiny reported that the Bowling event is scheduled for Feb. 14, 2010.
It is going to be held at the same bowling alley as last year,
Continental Lanes at 13 mile and Gratiot in Roseville.
Tiny had the fliers to be handed out.
Tiny asked all AC's to hit their shops up for door prizes.
- Elections:
The position of Sgt @ Arms was forgotten at the last meeting.
Nominations were held, Rick "Wizard" Johnson and Melissa Headrick were
nominated.
An election was held,
Rick won by a majority.
- Reminder
about the annual Region Christmas party to be held immediately following the
December 8th Lapeer meeting.
- Reminder
about the Biker Resurrection bike unveiling on Saturday December 12th at
Boomer's Roadhouse in Waterford.
- Reminder
about our Re-organizational meeting to be held Sunday, December 13th at Hamlin
Pub in Shelby.
- 50/50
winner Dan "Clutch" Norfleet.
Drink
winner Chris Rose.
2 wooden
motorcycle puzzle door prizes given away were donated by Bruce Biscorner.
1 prize went to Sheila Lawson, 2nd went to Clutch who donated it to the
Bowling event as a door prize.

Business
1.
Tiny read a thank you card sent by Bob and Kelly Schaller for the Regions
contribution to them of $200 out of the Down Biker fund last month.
2.
Russ Martin requested that he be allowed to keep the American Flag we fly at the
Macomb meeting. The flag was given
to the region by a good friend of Russ', Carl McIntyre, who has since passed
away. This was voted on and passed
the November Lapeer meeting, and it was passed here.
3.
Keith Steiber donated a Flag to be used at the Macomb meetings.
4.
Anna & Whiz asked that the officers submit their contact information and a
picture to be posted on the website.
Anna stated that she was going to be off of work during the Christmas holidays
and that is when they would be revamping the website.
5.
Debbie Marhoffer requested $802.00 to be spent to replenish our Products stock.
A motion was made, seconded and the vote passed by a large majority.
6.
Ray Kerschenheite asked that we vote on what theme to do at the seminar.
A pajama party was voted by a 6 to 0 margin.
